GOHAN
Gohan is Goku and Chi Chi's first son who appears in the beginning of the DBZ series. His first appearance is when he's 4 years old and named after Goku's step-grandfather. Gohan is a hybrid: since he is half-human and half-Saiyan, he has the capability to become more powerful than his father if trained properly. Gohan starts out being a little weenie and wears the 4-star DragonBall on top of his hat. After Goku is killed defeating Radditz with Piccolo's help, Piccolo takes Gohan and trains him under his tutelage. Piccolo also rips Gohan's tail out by the roots after he changed into a were-monkey and almost destroyed Piccolo. He does become stronger, but wimps out during the fighting against Vegeta and Radditz, but becomes brave after Piccolo sacrifices his life to save him. Gohan defeated Vegeta when he changed into the giant were-monkey. Later, he Krillin and Bulma go to Namek to find the Dragon balls there, but find themselves in a 3-way race for them with Vegeta and the menacing Freeza. Later when he's a teenager, he attends Orange Star High School in Satan City and becomes a masked superhero, and later with Videl, Satan's daughter. During the Cell series, he becomes a Super-Saiyan also. After the Cell series, Gohan becomes the main star of the series. He's not a wimp anymore either, but Chi Chi forced him to study more and become more of a scholar then a fighter. He lends a big hand in defeating Buu later, and marries Videl. They have a daughter named Pan.
