My Friends Poetry

Why my friends poetry and not my own? Simply because I can't write good poetry, it's not in me! Hope you enjoy these.

The first poems were written by my longtime friend Samantha. I don't see her much anymore because she had moved away from where I live and she has a busy life, but I still have her poems to remember her by. Here are a couple:

Roses Have Thorns And Shining Waters Mud
Cancer Lurks Deep Within The Sweetest
But Clouds And Eclipses Stain The Sun And Moon
And History Reeks Of The Wrongs We Have Done
After Today Consider Me Gone
To Search For Perfection Is All Very Well
But To Look For A Heaven Is To Live Here In Hell
After Today Consider Me Gone

This picture of Alucard is one I had drawn in 94' from my own imagination and this poem that my friend wrote is about this Alucard, not the video game one. I put the video game Alucard on the bottom for comparison. Let me know whom you think is better looking! Anyway, here is her next poem:

Alucard

His lips so soft, his soul so deep,
Now I lay me down to sleep.
Mind of darkness, cape of black,
He would never turn his back.
Gaze of eyes, how he stares,
Him and I, we are a pair.
Companionship, his wolf and I,
How I stare into her eyes.
I run my fingers through his hair,
Here we meet, his darkest lair.
Kiss so sweet, touch so soft,
My life to lose, a love not lost.
I ache for his love and his passionate kiss,
The feelings he gives me that make me exist.
A kiss I bestow upon his lips,
And my passion for him is a total eclipse.
The friction between us sends sparks down my spine,
And the fire created is both his and mine.
I look in the future and see both of us,
Denoting our youth to blood bonds of trust.
He tastes my tears, he absorbs the pain,
As my tears fall down like rain.
He feels my pain from deep inside,
He takes the pain I've tried to hide.
His sweet little smile, the look on his face,
The feelings he gives me that can't be replaced.
The sweet touch of his lips so softly on mine,
Keeps me eternally through space and time.
The love that he gives me hits straight to the core,
A feeling he gives me I just can't ignore.
The feel of his dreams and the sight of his soul,
The dark and the light, the warmth and the cold.
All that I feel that words can't explain,
I love him so much it drives me insane.
Never before have I loved quite so much,
That the words wouldn't write and I trembled with touch.
Throughout eternity and beyond the end,
Until then, we will meet again.

This next piece is not a poem but a short story of sorts. Samantha and I used to make up stupid, funny little stories whenever we got bored and wrote them down on paper or on a file on her computer. This is one of which that had been saved. Remember, this is not to be taken seriously, and, your sense of humor is probably not the same as ours. Here it is:

Forever

I was walking through the woods, then I heard this noise, it was a noise that I had never heard before, it was a vampire laughing at me, so I said, "What are you laughing at?"
And it said, "You!"
So I said, "Why?"
And it said, "Because you are so fucking ugly!"
Then I ran home and said, "Mom, am I ugly?"
And she said, "Yes, I regret ever having such an ugly child!"
So I killed her.
Then I went into the garage, where my dad was, and said, "Dad, am I ugly, do you regret ever having such an ugly child?"
And he said, "But of course little lady, or, a, thing."
So I killed him too.
Then I was so depressed because the occasional beer that I used to sneak out of the fridge wasn't there anymore, I already drank them all. So I was put into an institution for trying to commit suicide, and a couple of months later I had no need to kill myself, they gave me a lifetime supply of non-alcholic beer. So I went outside and I was walking home to my supply of beer, and I was going to have the biggest fucking party this side of the U.S. had ever fucking seen. Anyway, I was walking home, and I went to cross the street, suddenly I got this ringing in my ear, so I stopped in the middle of the street and stuck my finger in my ear and began to rotate it. Suddenly out of nowhere this semi came and struck me dead.
But when the police came to identify me, they said, "Jesus Christ, this must just be more road kill, because how anyone could have such an ugly child is beyond me!"
Then they left me there and several other vehicles ran over me.
The End

No, really what happened was:
I was walking through the woods, on my way home from school, when I heard this noise, it was a noise that I had heard before, it was a vampire laughing at me, so I said,

"Shut up, I have already heard this story!"

And then I walked home and died in my sleep because I was murdered in my sleep because the vampire came and killed me for revenge.

The End For Really
