The Informer: The first question that I always ask is how did you get into the great sport of professional wrestling? And when was it that you decided to get into the sport?

Blitzkrieg Kid: I got into it through my dad, I think, when I was still a young child. Ever scince I was 6 I dreamed of being a pro wrestler. I would ask my Dad "Dad, why do I need to learn to read if I'm gonna be a pro wrestler?" He could never give me a straight answer. I finally found out about the oppertunity to be a pro wrestler here in GR in April of '98, and I jumped at the oppertunity.

The Informer: Who brought you into wrestling and who was it that you trained under?

Blitzkrieg Kid: I was brought into wrestling by the founder of Champioship Wrestling of Michigan (CWM) Scott Zeinstra and was trained the basics and most regular wrestling by Frankie the Face. More complicated manuvers were taught under El Tejano.

The Informer: Who was the biggest influence on your career?

Blitzkrieg Kid: There are several, but one of the most influential is my brother, Refferee Jimmy Jacobs. Without him, I wouldn't be booked on a lot of the shows or have as much name recognition as I do now. He put my name out there via the internet and made my web site. It's been quite the poitive experience.

The Informer: Which wrestlers are or were your most favorite to work with in the ring? And who, if any, are the wrestlers that you have not liked working with?

Blitzkrieg Kid: I have worked with some really great atheletes. I'd say my favorites are Tommy Mac, Asten Williams, Michael Stryker, and Ace Decade. Without a doubt, my best matches are with them. Tommy and i have somewhat contrasting styles which makes for an excellent match (heck, we've had 5 together) Asten is a great worker. He can control a match beautifully and it always flows real well and comes out nicely. Stryker and I have had some classic matches. We've done some excellent stuff together. He's one of the toughest little guys I've ever seen, in and out of the ring. Ace Decade was one of my favorite matches. No DQ, falls count anywhere. ECW would have been proud of it. He took all of the things that I wanted to try and without any complaints. As far as least favorite, I haven't encountered anybody that I don't like to work with. I think not liking to work a match with a particular person is a result of perhaps miscomunication between the two workers and is somewhat a fault of both parties. This is not to say that there are no bad workers in the world, but I think two well trained people no matter who they are should be able to put on a well organized match with no screw-ups.

The Informer: We currently follow you in the Great Lakes region, but which region did you make your start at and which parts of the independent circuit have you wrestled in all throughout your career?

Blitzkrieg Kid: Well, I am very young to the buisness, having almost finished up my first full year. I started in the Grand Rapids region working for Pro Wrestling Worldwide and moved on to Holland for Lakeshore Wrestling Organization. I'm booked for the battle royal in the Dan Curtis Memorial show on April 16, and I am now a regular on UWA shows.

The Informer: And in these areas, which promotions have you worked for?

Blitzkrieg Kid: Pro Wrestling Worldwide and Lakeshore Wrestling Organization.

The Informer: Have you ever held any titles? And if so, which titles have you held?

Blitzkrieg Kid: I was the first PWW battle bowl champion, which is simply a Royal Rumble. I carried the title over to LsWO, where I lost it to Ace Decade.

The Informer: Have you ever been seriously injured inside the ring? And if so, what were your most serious injuries?

Blitzkrieg Kid: A broken toes practicing moonsaults, a concusion from a spine buster, and tons of scars on my elbows from improper bumps.

The Informer: Who has been your toughest opponent and your biggest rival?

Blitzkrieg Kid: The CLBs (crazy little bratts) Asten Williams and Tommy Mac have been tough opponents for me in the past, and will be in the future as well.

The Informer: What was the best moment of your career? Whether it be in or outside of the ring?

Blitzkrieg Kid: I would say giving Ace Decade my "Lightning press" outside the ring through a table for the win during my no DQ falls count anywhere match vs. him. I got quite the pop!

The Informer: Where did you come up with the Blitzkrieg Kid gimmick? Inside the ring, what style of wrestling do you use? High- flying, brawling, mat wrestling?

Blitzkrieg Kid: From the guy on Nitro. He's sooooooo cool, I just wanted to be like him. Just kidding :). I liked the name Blitzkrieg, which means lightning war which represents my fighting style, which I came up with in '97. The kid part was added on by Scott Zeinstra. I consider myself a "little big man" not a luchador. I do have the fighting style, very high flying, but I'm also quite strongso I can work with just about anybody.

The Informer: If you could pick anyone that you would want to wrestle, who would it be?

Blitzkrieg Kid: HBK. That would be totally awsome, if I may mark out for a minute. I think Shawn is the greatest wrestler ever and it would be an honor to work a match with him.

The Informer: What goals do you have planned for your wrestling career? Do you one day plan to make it to the big show, or do you plan on staying in indies forever?

Blitzkrieg Kid: WWF if they actually start WRESTLING again, if not, then ECW. It's what I've wanted to do all my life, I know I've got the wrestling ability, it's just a matter of getting over with the fans.

The Informer: What kind of advice would you give to someone who is trying to get into the sport of professional wrestling?

Blitzkrieg Kid: Don't talk junk till you can back it up. You'll find lots of horrible, no-talent pieces of crap running indy promotions almost everywhere you go. You may think you're a better wrestler then them when you begin, and you probobly are, but just sit back and do your own thing. Once you get good by there standards, which means the basics, talk all the smack you want, just be careful who!

The Informer: Would you like to take some time to tell everyone about your web site, fan club, or merchandise?

Blitzkrieg Kid: Visit my website! http//:www.angelfire.com/mi/blitzkriegkid

The Informer: Thanks for taking the time to do this interview session. Before you leave, leave the fans and us with some final comments. Just anything that you would like to let everyone know.

Blitzkrieg Kid: Come watch me for only 10 bucks in the indys while you still can!
