Well I suppose I had better introduce myself then....
My name is Michael MacDonald and I'm a recent science graduate from the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia in which I studied various areas of astronomy and astrophysics.
I'm currently taking some time off before I return to university to undertake a Graduate Diploma in Science. In the meantime I am trying to catch up on some real astronomy, the backyard kind, amateur style. I am a member of the Canberra Astronomical Society and am becoming involved with some of its projects especially the Schools Programs. It is from this involvement that I am currently in training to become an explainer at Canberra's National Science & Technology Centre.
