Sequel To "What The Heart Wants

"Morning Baby," JC whispered in his wife's ear.
She rolled over as she came out of her dreamy state. "Mmm, Good Morning."
He placed a soft kiss on her lips and then made his way down to her bulging stomach. "Good Morning Baby Chasez," he said as he kissed her belly.
A loving smiled filled her lips as she ran her fingers through his hair. "I love you," she said.
"I love you too," he said as he gazed at her with his breathtaking blue eyes. "And I love you," he said talking to her belly again. He jumped as he felt the baby kick. She laughed at his shocked expression. "Was that the baby? Did it kick?" he asked as he smiled at her.
"Yeah," she said as she ran her hands over her stomach, "This kid is going to be a hell of a soccer player."
"Nah, " JC said dismissing her statement. "He's just practicing his dance moves so he can be like his old man."
Angie giggled. "He? Oh, so you assume it's going to be a boy?" Angie teased.
"I don't know, but whatever it is, it's going to have a great mother," he said as he placed another delicate kiss on her lips.
"Love you."
"Love you, too."

"JC, phone call!!"
"All right, I'll be right there."
"Hello? Ang? Ok, calm down baby, I'll be right there."
JC ran back onto the stage that the guys were practicing on. Justin noticed him first.
"JC, what's up man? What's going on?" he asked after seeing JC's frantic expression.
"It's Angie," he said as he gathered his things.
"Is it the baby? Is she all right?"
"No.. I mean yes…she's going into labor."
"What?!?"
"I'll call you later, I gotta go."
Justin ran after him. "JC, I'll drive you. You're freaking out too much right now."
"Fine, Let's go!"

"Did anyone call an ambulance?" Justin asked as his car sped down the road.
"Ang said she called the ambulance and then called me. It should be there by now."
Justin turned the corner of JC's street. "It's already there," Justin stated as the flashing lights came into view. He pulled up in front of the house.
JC was out of the car before it even completely stopped. He ran to Angie as she was being brought out of the house.
"Baby," he said as he grabbed her hand, "Are you ok?"
"Yeah," she barely said.
He looked to one of the paramedics," Is everything ok? Everything's how it should be?"
The paramedic looked at him with an amused expression. "Yes, young man. Everything's fine so far. I take it this your first child?"
"Yes."

"Mr. Chasez," A doctor asked as he came through the door.
JC jumped to his feet. "Yes?"
"I just wanted to give you an update on your wife," the doctor said.
"She's in a room now, We're waiting for her to become fully dilated. You can go in and sit with her if you'd like."
"Thank you."

"Hey baby," JC said as he stepped into the room. He took a seat next to the bed and took her hand in his. He brought it his lips. "You're so beautiful," he whispered as brushed her hair off her forehead.
The contractions had stopped for a split second when she spoke, "I'm sweaty and in pain and I'm beautiful?"
He nodded and smiled sweetly. She tightened his grip on his hand as another set of contractions came on. She clenched her teeth and closed her eyes tightly as she bit through the pain. He wished he could take all her pain away, but he knew that was impossible.

JC came through the set of double doors. He was wearing a green O.R. scrubs. Everyone was in the waiting room: the rest of the guys and both of their families.
"Well?" JC's mother finally asked.
A huge smile spread across his face, "It's a boy."
Everyone jumped up and hugged him, congratulating him.
"Can we go in and see Angie?" his mother-in-law asked. "actually, she's resting now, but I'll let you all know when she's awake. I'm going to sit with her and Joshua Scott Chasez Junior now." He smiled from ear to ear as he turned and walked out of the room.
His father put his arm around his mother as she spoke," I can't believe our baby has a baby of his own now.

Angie slowly opened her eyes to the fluorescent lights of the hospital room. She rolled over to see JC sitting in the chair in the corner, the baby in his arms.
With he baby's tiny hand wrapped around his finger, he looked to his wife lying in the bed. "Hey Mom," he whispered.
"Hey Dad," she said smiling.
JC stood up and moved to the bed. He sat down next to her and carefully handed her their son. "He's beautiful," she said softly.
"An angel," he responded.

*~* At home *~* "You're son is crying again," Angie said as she rolled over facing JC.
"I'll go this time," he said.
"I know you will," she joked.

After a few minutes, the crying stopped but JC didn't return. Angie slipped from the bed and made her way down the hall to the living room. JC was standing, slowly dancing with the baby. He was humming a soft melody as the child drifted back to sleep. He smiled as he turned and saw his wife standing in the doorway. He began to sing the words of the song he had been humming as she walked towards him.
