G.U.I. DESCRIPTION PAGE!!
REGULUS
BOREAL- Boreal is a nice G.U.I. , that is run partly in ASM. One
of the first nice features about it is the mouse. It is made in ASM, which
allows it to run faster. Also, it lets you add icons, and even lets you make the
icons pictures. It also includes LIMITED multi-tasking. One thing that was some-
what annoying was the fact that it ran kind of slow. Also, making icons was
challenging to figure out, even with the help program. Overall really nice
though. A 90% out of 100. It is now replaced by AURORA.
WINDOWS O.N.- This program I made. It's not on this page yet
because I do not have a Graph-Link as of yet (I hope to soon!). I will describe
it though. First, it's in a Windows 95 format, which means a start button, a
feature that shows what applications are running, and a mouse. Also, it has
optional password protection (high, med, and off), load from start or not, and
I will probably add more to it. It's not in ASM, since my knowledge of it is
VERY low, but I think that it does run faster than BOREAL. Pretty nice, I'd
give it about 87% out of 100.
