The band Metallica.....hmm.....never heard of them, you must not be from earth.   Metallica is really get up there in years, and record sales.  From the black self-titled album to Load and ReLoad, they have been innovators and true rockers.   Metallica was a leader in the Heavy Metal category of music.  Their style of music is plain out Metal:  Kick Ass lyrics with kick ass guitar.  Basically in your face.  I think one of the main reasons Metallica is so popular is because they have been there through it all.  Metallica has to have the most fans of any heavy metal band.  I think recently they have been getting more towards their roots.   Thats why I really like Load and ReLoad.
