LIFE MYSTIQUE

The best, they say, is yet to come
but make the best of what is now
we need desires to move along
but keep the past close at hand
for you might need it if things go wrong
but don't look back too long
concentrate on the unfallen sand
and look for gold that has not been panned

The worst, they say, is far behind
but how would they really know
Everybody leads different lives
a sense of carelessness is often strong
sometimes things come not in threes, but fives
where one could spend 5 out of 9 cat's lives
remember, everyone's life is individually drawn
and everyone sings a different song
