Spinach Dip

1 pkg Knorr vegetable soup mix
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup sour cream
1 medium onion, chopped fine
1 can water chestnuts, chopped (optional)
10 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained

Mix all ingredients together and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, but preferably overnight.

Serve with party rye rounds, bread sticks, vegetables, or in a hollowed-out loaf of pumpernickel bread, using the insides as dippers.
