PTQ Chichago, Detroit
Well me and my teamate of the Mox Monkeys decided to drive down to
detroit for the qulifier on the 23rd! I had high hopes cuz my deck
preformed so well in fun games. Jermey had all his type 2 stuff stolen
so I had to make him a mono red without hammers. I forgot everyones name
that I played accept the Canada National Champ which I tied, Gary Crackhour.
Match 1
vs. A stupid G/U Creature/counter.
The guy was such an asshole I hated him.
Game 1- He gets out LOTS of creatrues and I prepare for beatdown.
Game 2 Side in the Mindharnesses, floodgates, and Dream tide. Get out
the illusionist and floodgate and a bunch of land and he cant do
anything and ends up loosing.
Game 3- Same as above.

Game 1 Lots of creatures he wins.
Game 2 I sid in the same five cards as above and whoop ass.
Game 3 Get out 3 Ophidians, 1 Illusionist, and a floodgate. So in affect
I had a walking ancestral and won.

Game 1 I actully win, he forgets to lay a land on turn 3.
Game 2 Side in same things, he prepares for beatdown.

Well as of right now Im sure im in the final 8 All I need to do is win 2
out fo the next 4.

vs. copy of my deck minus ophidians and illusionists. And with Phasers.
Game 1 I abduct a ton of stuff and end up with the win.
Game 2 He gets big stuff and wins.
Game 3 Didnt even start this one, we were out of time.

Game 1 Rock him.
Game 2 Same 5 card sideboard again, whoop all over him.

Game 2 He drops a Gallobraid, I prepare for beatdown.

I hafta play the #1 player in canada, Gary Crackhour. Hes usin
sandspoise.
Game 1 I get lots of counters and win.
Game 2 I get mana screw, not good to do aginst sandspoise.
Game 3 We hafta draw, ran out of time.

Well I was sure to make it into the final 8 but scrubness cost me my
life.
Over all very dissiopinting for my team(THE MOX MONKEYS!) and me.
But I win MASSIVE POINTS for tying Gary!
