About WQoL Since I graduated from my studies in Social Science Research ten years ago I have been actively interested in the factors that influence women’s health and wellbeing. My current work as an employee in one of the largest hospitals in Scotland has raised many issues for me about why women’s health receives so little government funding. My views on this subject have drawn criticism from my employers, who have requested (ok, insisted!) that I remove any reference to them from this website because it puts them in a bad light. Those who have been posting for the past few months will have noticed this change (sorry Kathy!) but this of course does not change the overall content of this website. It still belongs to us and we can still say what we think is important to us. Lisa W. July 2008.
