In April 2018, Avast started a free Chromium-based Avast Secure Browser. Officially, the latest product is a replacement of Avast SafeZone Browser, which the company removed from a passage not long before.

The company says the new browser was composed with three things in mind:

·         advance surfing speeds

·         Provide privacy to users

·         Protect users from online warnings

In our view, Avast Secure Browser is a useful tool that blocks ads, gives anti-tracking, anti-phishing, anti-fingerprinting security.

The new product is cooperative with Windows 7,8, 8.1, and 10. The browser’s unquestionable advantage is that you don’t require to download Avastantivirus to use it. You can receive the browser as a standalone product. You can also get it with Avast’s security packages.

In our survey, we have described a close look at Avast’s new browser extensions and features. Also, we will relate it to other well-known browsers to see whether it is any safer than the opponents.
