"The
first Lord of the Dance website was launched sometime in the spring of
1997. It was an exciting time since {{{MICHAEL}}} was touring with the
show across America. As more and more people saw the show and were
blown away by its energy they came to the Visitor's Book on the new
website to express their thanks. But there was more than just enjoyment
and gratitude. There was inspiration and an excitement generated that
brought people back to the Visitor's Book over and over. Over the next
couple of years it became a daily ritual to go to the Visitor's Book-
soon called just the VB- and read the new entries and write another
post. And these folks called themselves "VBers"."
