IMPACT Leadership is University High School’s approach to creating a smooth transition for all incoming freshmen. The goals of the program include developing leadership skills in upperclassmen as well as providing opportunities for incoming freshmen to establish an early connection to University High School.
IMPACT Mentors are selected from an approved list of available candidates through a team leader selection process in early spring. Mentor’s are responsible, confident and reliable students who have demonstrated strong positive character while at University High School.
IMPACT Team Leaders are selected through an application and interview process prior to mentor selection. Team Leaders are responsible, confident and reliable students who can take initiative when needed and have demonstrated strong positive character while at University High School.
IMPACT Program Leaders are selected through an interview process by invitation only. Program Leaders are responsible, confident and reliable students who have demonstrated strong positive character, communication skills, and effective leadership in various organizations while at University High School.
