In Winchester, after several decades in the Wrestling community - Dave Dalton walked away from the business, leaving no successor to the legacy of The UWA. 2.) UWA General Manager Donny Dangerous hereby announces that the UWA Hardcore Title will no longer be defended under the 24/7 rule - but instead, the title will be defended under a new rule - which will be announced at the October show. 3.) In a bombshell that is sure to devastating effects on the UWA - Bobby Roode is no longer under contract to The Universal Wrestling Alliance - In a statement from UWA Head Office - The company is going through a rebirth. We at the UWA appreciate everything that Mr. Robert Roode has done for the company over the years. He has been a staple in building the name within the wrestling community, but out of necessity, UWA must proceed without him The Universal Wrestling Alliance wishes Mr. Roode all the best in his future endeavors. After this announcement - GM Donny Dangerous announced that there will be a Heavyweight Title Tournament in October to crown a new HW Champion - and it will be someone local - and someone who has never held the title before!!
