Get rid of your clutter through a garage sale, donation or recycling station, for by doing that you will have lesser things to bring along which means lesser cost for moving.


Packing Tip No. 2: Be Resourceful

Prior to purchase of boxes for packing, try to look around your house first and check old bags, where you can put some stuff inside it. Furthermore, you can also use drawers of your cabinets in putting some clothes or linens.


Packing Tip No. 3: Packing Supplies

Instead of buying packing peanuts try to use linens, clothes, blankets, old newspapers as a substitute for it. Through this you would be able to save some money, save space, and save Mother Nature.


Packing Tip No. 4: Know Where to Purchase

If there is a need for boxes, do purchase boxes from company that sells defect boxes like misprints, for these boxes would cost lesser than boxes from other company.


Packing Tip No. 5: Pack Properly

Observe proper packing to prevent any problem and to make sure that all boxes are filled properly so as to avoid having too many boxes when moving, or the other way around. Overfilled would cause damage especially while under filled would cause additional boxes, additional cost.
