Do you know what is tilt shift photography or more widely known as miniature faking techniques?

The interest for tilt shift photography is rising, and this is because the once expensive tilt shift lenses, perspective control lenses are very costly, and not everyone can afford it. Tilt shift lenses are regarded as the prime lens to have, and the 'damages' are indeed not for the regular photographer.

As digital photography age advances, the prices of many digital camera and its accessories have become very affordable for the us. We do not need to burn large holes in our pockets to buy a photography gear that we need. Tilt shift lens is no different. The selection for these fast lenses are very limited, and the sweet deal is many outside manufacturer like lensbaby, samyang, rokinon are coming out their own versions of tilt shift lens. While this is sweet and made very affordable, let us not forget about the build quality of these camera lenses. They are not quite as what you will expect from a $2000 camera lens, clad in all magnesium, or some expensive metal.

Personally, i'm happy that we do not need to solely rely on digital tilt shift software, generator, etc to create our miniature fake images. The end result is important and the build quality is secondary. If you are really particular about the build quality, then it is best to stick with the elites. What you pay is what you get. I would like to invite you photography hobbyists to all tilt shift photography resources, including DIY Tilt shift.
