Meaningful things I learned in CSIB
Where to start meaning full things that I learned in CSIB is really to hone my skills in computers, a lot of things I was already very familiar with but some of the things that I now am thanking that I learned were the use and operations of a lot of the Google aspects. For instance Google docs is now my life saver, I actually use Google docs now more than ever, and have actually use it for work now and school. Some of the other things or should I say subjects that I learned in CSIB is the basic system functions of how a computer sends information from one place to another, I had no idea that information is transmitted from one piece that is chopped up in several pieces and then put back together as one like an email. Others is how certain things are stored like RAM or through a USB which as far as the functionality of these items went I had no idea on how they worked but now I have a basic understanding of what gets stored where and what can be used to store. Also another thing that I learned in CSIB is how technology plays in the lives of everything from personal to business and even medical. Example in the medical field computers and technology are coming out with something called stem cell research, and this is where if you need a new heart, lungs, kidneys or whatever you may need they can make one for you, then there is Nano technology this is where they will send little organisms that are little robots that go into your body and repair any damages you mighty have, example if you were paralyzed they would inject these little guys inside of you and let them go to town. So what they would do is go inside of your body and look for the damaged part and then slowly repair them from inside with no form of surgery required, then when they were done they would just die off and then disintegrate in your body with no known side effects but an unanalyzed and fully functional person. Another thing that I have learned in CSIB is that we are planning to put computer chips in peoples head so that they can have a computer on hand in their head which I think is stupid, don’t get me wrong I think computers are great but going to the extent of putting computers in peoples heads and making people more and more stupid is crazy the day that we put computers in peoples heads is whets going to be the downfall in the human race. There were other things that I was taught in this class and overall it was a great experience with a passionate teacher which is hard to come by. Oh and the last thing that I learned and this is from Professor Zamora is to learn a way to work and be lazy at the same time why work 40 hours a week when you can only work 6 hours, and to let you know I’m working on it as we speech.
