Locally owned and operated, The Tail Haven Hotel & Day Lounge is a boutique-style dog boarding facility that offers day and overnight boarding services for any breed and any size of dog. When your dog stays at The Tail Haven, it’s all inclusive, and there’s plenty of play and love for all the dogs on a daily basis.
The Tail Haven Hotel & Day Lounge is staffed 24 hours each day, 7 days every week, and this ensures that the best care is provided to all the pets. For the pickup and drop off service, the hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7 am. until 7 pm., and on Saturdays and Sundays, operational hours are from 9 am. until 5 pm.
For the safety of all of the K9 guests and the staff, guests (of the human sort) are kindly requested to plan ahead whenever scheduling traveling so that your dog is returned to you within the hours given above. For late pickup, a $5 surcharge is made for every 5 minutes after usual operational hours, up to a maximum of 30 minutes. If any later than 30 minutes, an additional night of board and lodgings will be applicable.
You can of course ask for additional hours with respect to pickup or drop off by getting in touch with the front desk at The Tail Haven. Please ensure a minimum of 48 hours prior to the appropriate date. Do note that extended hours are only available at weekends.
The Tail Haven Salon & Spa
Locally owned and operated, The Tail Haven Hotel & Day Lounge is a boutique-style boarding facility for dogs that offers day boarding, overnight care, and grooming services for any breed and any size of dog. In the Salon, the following base service levels are offered. If you prefer a custom service, please get in touch with the staff at the front desk.
Bath and Blow Dry
The Tail Haven Salon & Spa’s base Bath and Blow Dry service comes inclusive of nail trim, ear cleaning, anal gland treatment, de-matting of coat for up to 20 minutes, and coat brushing for up to 20 minutes.
Touch-Up Trim
The Tail Haven Hotel & Day Lounge’s Touch-Up Trim is inclusive of everything offered in the Bath and Blow Dry, in addition to maintenance clipping of the feet, the face, and of sanitation areas.
Full Grooming Service
The Full Grooming Service package is inclusive of everything that comes with the Bath and Blow Dry option, in addition to clipping and grooming of the coat. Should there be excessive matting, there’s a requirement or a request for specialized grooming (e.g. a hand scissor cut or hand pulling), or if there are behavioral issues that arise, additional fees may be applicable.
