While riding around town on my bicycle on June 15th 2011, I turned a corner and there in the middle of the road was a tiny little duckling, all alone standing in the middle of the pavement, peeping his head off. I hit the brakes, and expecting him to run off, was surprised to find that he continued to stand there and peep. I reached down and picked him up, noticing one of his wings was injured. I looked around to see if there were any others, any brothers and sisters, maybe his parents, or any evidence of what had happened. Nothing, not a trace. So the little duckling I was to call Ramesses  and I departed together. We've been buddies ever since. Since I've never seen an Egyptian gosling before, I decided that I would keep a journal of sorts, chronicling his growth from duckling to full fledged Egyptian Goose.
