What is the goal of your website?
Before setting up your farm website, think about some of the goals for your business and how a website will serve them. Although your website can change to meet your evolving business needs, you’ll need to start with some ideas of what you what to do. Ask yourself these questions:
- Am I only interested in promoting my farm and my products?
- Do I want to provide information about my farming practices to customers?
- Do I want to take orders for face-to-face sales through a CSA, online farmers market, or other methods?
- Do I want to sell and ship products? Will I do this seasonally or on a regular basis?
- Do I want to provide a forum for customer feedback and exchange?
- Will I use social media in combination with my website?
You should delete all of this text and replace it with text of your own. You can modify any text on your page with the Text formatting tools at the top of the page. To add other content, use the Media and Add-ons tabs. If you'd like to change your style template click on Styles. To add or remove pages use the Pages tab.
