RFID Tags
RFID stands for radio frequency identification
A
genral description of a
rfid tag is they are a circuit that contains the instructions of a
serial number.
How
it works is that a receiver is constantly beaming
out a radio signal, the rfid tag picks up the signal and uses the power
from
that signal to send out a serial number to the receiver, and then the
receiver performs
a function like opening a door.
