The basic steps of Straw-Bale construction is to always make a plan and then decide what type of base you will use to support the floor and then prepare the foundation build a frame of metal or timber and then put the roof on and then make straw bale walls and then apply them. The advantages of straw-bale construction is renewable nature of straw,cost, & naturally fire-retardant & high insulation. The disadvantages of Straw-Bale Construction is susceptibility to rot, difficulty of obtaining insurance coverage, & high space requirements for the straw itself.
