What you will need:

*1st picture LtoR: Oyster sauce, korean sauce, sirancha and soy sauce

Korean "BulGoGi" sauce (this could be bought at any Korean Grocery Store)
Soy sauce(you can buy this at Walmart)
Fish Sauce
Sirancha (this could also be found at walmart in the same aisle soy sauce is in)
sugar
2.5 lbs of stew meat
Baby Corn (can be found at Walmart)
Chinese mushrooms (also at Walmart)
Brocolli
garlic powder (optional)
ground pepper(optional)

Marinate Ingredients: ½ tablespoon Korean sauce
2 tsp soy sauce
3 drops of sirancha
3 tsp sugar
1 tablespoon of water
1 spoon of cornstarch

Sauce ingredients: 1 tsp oyster
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tablespoon Korean
½ tablespoon fish sauce
2 drops of Sirancha
1 spoon of sugar
few drops of freshly squeezed lemon.

Let's get started!

Step 1 is to cut the stew meat in half (if needed). Click here to see the meat that I bought. I'm sure any meat will do though. Alot of the meat in the 3 lb I bought was really thick so I cut them in half so it would be easier to cook. Afterwards you will need to make the marinate. Mix 1/2 tablespoon Korean sauce, 2 teaspoon of soy sauce, 3 drops of sirancha, 3 teaspoon sugar and 1 tablespoon of water all together. Mix thoroughly. The color should be a caramel color as shown below. Then you put the meat in and mix it around. Let it sit and marinate overnight. Make sure you put it in the fridge.

Step 2 should be ready to start the next day. First you need to make the sauce. Mix together 1 tsp oyster, 1 tsp soy sauce, 1 tablespoon Korean, 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce, 2 drops of sirancha, 1 spoon of sugar and a few drops of freshly squeezed lemon. Mix thoroughly and set it aside. You will need this later.

Now you need to make the thickener. Mix 1 spoon of cornstarch with 1/2 cup of water. Set this aside as you will need this later.

Put a half cup of oil on a frying pan AND LEAVE IT ON MEDIUM high. This is important because you do not want the meat to burn. If the meat looks like it's cooking too fast then you can lower the heat accordingly. The meat should not be flying all over the place (LOL). Cooking it slowly will taste better and it won't be so hard. (I learned this the hard way!) You will need to flip the pieces of meat over.

When the meat is ALMOST cooked, drain the juices out. You will not need these juices. Leave it on LOW for now.
Step 3 is to cook the broccoli. You can either cook it in a frying pan with oil or you can just boil it in water as I did. It is cooked when it is a dark green color as shown below.

Step 4 is to add oil (about 1/4 of a cup) back into the frying pan and turn the heat back to medium high. Drain the broccoli and it into the frying pan along with the meat. Now you need to add the sauce and cornstarch mix that you made in step 2 into the pan with the meat and broccoli and mix thoroughly for 5 minutes. The sauce should thicken within that 5 minutes.

Step 5 is to add the baby corn and chinese mushrooms. Click here to see the kind I bought. You are adding this last because these do not take long to cook. Open the can of baby corn and chinese brocolli and drain it out. You are only the baby corn and chinese mushroom and NOT the juice inside. Mix thoroughly for 5 minutes.

Taste it now. At this point I added ground pepper and garlic powder but you do not have to unless you want some of that taste. Or if you want it more sweet you can add more sugar or salt according to your taste. Now you're done! You can eat this with rice or by itself. I prefer over rice.

I hope you enjoyed it! =)
