We hope, through this site, we will be able to create a situation that will help you and us exchange ideas and experiences in our on going effort to understand better the world we live in, and that we hope to bring about a better rapport between us, the nations of the world.
This far Malaysia has been presented in so many ways by so many people. We are giving you yet another alternative source of information about us. We are giving you Malaysia, from the perspective and view point of knowledgeable Malaysians. We are presenting you an open door to come in and have another look at our country and its people. Probably through this door, you will see us better, and understand our hopes and aspirations.
This site will be made up of a number of channels covering every aspect of the Malaysian ways of life. We will be giving you programs on radio and television, news behind the news, stories of our cultural heritage, what we have in store for the tourists, interesting personalities that make Malaysia what it is today, and not forgetting the products of our rural people.
The team behind 'Betamed On-line' is made up of individuals who have traveled and seen the world. They are professionals. Some were broadcast journalists, researchers, educationists, cultural activists, historians and of course retired government officials.
Through them we will be presenting to you, hopefully, everything about Malaysia. We are giving you Malaysia in a broader perspective. We wish, our presentation will be an alternative source of knowledge about our country, and that it will generate a better and total understanding about our world - Malaysia.
