My Name is Terilyn Ironstar
and I am 25 years old. I was born in Regina, Saskatchewan and raised on the
Carry the Kettle First Nation most of my life.
I graduated from grade 12 in
2001 from the Nakoda Oyade Education Centre, which is located on the Carry the
Kettle First Nation.
I took a few years off from
furthering my education to consider my next step in life. Then in May 2007 I realized
what I wanted to do which made me apply for the Management Studies I program at
the Saskatchewan Indian Institute of Technologies and was very pleased to find
out I was accepted.
Currently I am finishing up
my year one studies and searching for summer employment. I am also looking
forward to begin my year II studies in August 2008.
Career Objective
My goal is to complete my
post-secondary education with a diploma in Accountancy, which when completed I
hope to become a very reliable and respected employee in a business with such
fields of work. My long-term career goal is to own my own business some day.
