Recover Deleted Photos
Losing all your photos is a painful incident. It is like losing all your memories. In this modern era of technology, photos are rarely printed. Everything is digitized and as the cameras are digital, so are the photos. You will be surprised at how many ways are there that can make you lose your photos, but how to recover deleted photos?
I lost all my pictures in a weird way. I use a Mac. All my pictures are saved in the Mac’s HDD (Hard Disk Drive). They are kept in a folder called “Memories”. The folder “New” was created by me and it was temporary. When I was on my Mac, I realized that the “New” folder was there and without knowing that now it contains all my pictures, I deleted the folder. I used “Command + Delete” buttons so the folder did not went to Trash Bin. It was deleted permanently. Fortunately, the very same day I realized that my picture folder is gone when I was attempting to extract some new photos from my camera to the HDD.
I searched for the folder for some time hoping that it was inside some other folder or somewhere else or it got renamed, never realizing that I deleted it myself. I searched the Trash Bin and the “Memories” folder was not in there as well. I asked my wife and she knew nothing about it but she got freaked out to think that I lost all our photos. At that time, my son, hearing our conversation, said to me that he has accidentally moved it into the “New” folder and then I realize that I removed all my photos without realizing. I don’t know what to do to retrieve deleted photos.
So, you see it is possible to lose your data in very weird ways. You may lose your photos by a variety of way as following:
You may lose your data by accidentally deleting them.
