Something
about me
Hello! I am Anh Nguyen, al student of the
University of Houston, majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Technology. This
is a picture of me. I hope I don’t look too bad.
I’m an
international student
I came from Vietnam, a
small but beautiful tropical country in the south east of Asia. This is one
picture of Ho Chi Minh City, where I was living, with its popular mean of
transportation called “xich lo.” Maybe some of you would know it
My childhood memory is filled with a lot of fun things that I
know I cannot find anywhere else in the world. Most importantly, my beloved
family all live there.
My
Happy Family
I have a happy small
family, with my parents and me. This picture of us is taken about three years
ago. Yeah, it’s been 2 years since I left them to come here.
I also
have a bigger, happier family, with my aunts, uncles, cousins, and my grandmother.
Every single person in my big family is funny and crazy, so when we gather
together, we make a funnier and crazier group.
In the picture on the
left are the funniest aunts, uncles and cousins of me. They include my parents
and… me (lol)
Together we hang out a
lot, travel a lot, and have a lot of fun. They are not only my family. They are
also my friends, my most special friends. We have traveled together throughout
the country, to the most famous and beautiful cities. No matter where we go, we
have a lot of fun and happy memories.
The first place we went to visit together is Nha Trang, a
beautiful city at the seaside. I was only 10 years old at that time, but I
still remember what a fun time together we had.
These two pictures were taken in our tour to China in 2006. The
left one was in Shanghai and the right one was taken in Beijing. The background
is showing the Great Wall of China, just so you know J
These pictures were taken in one of our vacations two years ago.
All of the people in the pictures are my cousins. They are doing some crazy
stuffs, haha, and I was the one who took these pictures (lol)
I am very happy and lucky to be a part of
those wonderful memories and a member of this wonderful family.
