NEWS!!!!

21 July 2008 | OK, I hate to do this, but, after much additional research, it turns out that my Laverda IS an SF3. The tailpiece is missing (it broke off some years ago), but the mag wheels, and disc brakes give it away as an SF3. Also, the frame number falls right in the middle of the range for the SF3s, despite the fact that the frame says "SF2" on it. Apparently, all the SF3s were like that. Whodathunk!?

11 July 2008 | Well, Bob from NALOC got me thinking the other day when he mentioned that he didn't know of very many SF3s in the United States. As it turns out, mine is not an SF3, but an SF2. I took a look at the frame stamp earlier today, and that is what I discovered. So, needless to say, I am a little bummed about that, but, life goes on, and I am sure this will be a fun project.

10 July 2008 | I will have to mark today as the official start of my restoration project. Though I am not doing much work at this present moment, I am making contacts, and formulating a plan for the complete, frame off restoration of my Laverda.

10 July 2008 | Welcome to the official Launch of my website. This site is dedicated to my restoration project of my 1977 Laverda 750 SF3. For history on this motorcycle, and my two other Laverdas, please see the history link above. I will be continually updating this website with my progress on my very first restoration project and with pictures along the way. Enjoy, and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me at silversnl@comcast.net
