The first and the original since 1989. WWW.SHOWTYME.COM was launched in 1997 and continued until 2004. Somehow in Feb. 2004, my domain name was stolen from me. I never received the renewal for my domain name by mail, like I had in the past and I was not even aware the domain was about to expire. After the domain expired, it was renewed into someone else name just as quick. Who ever was responsible for doing this, did so out of pure greed. Here's why...
WWW.SHOWTYME.COM had become a very popular website and generated a lot of internet traffic. When WWW.SHOWTYME.COM was taken over by some hacker, the domain was used to sell products of all sorts hoping for huge profits in sales. The website did not do so well and soon became for sale once more on a online bidding war. The hacker who stole my domain right under my feet made a huge profit of over $10,000 when they resold the site that I originally paid $35.00 dollars for. Talk about a huge profit not to mention a motive for the theft of my domain.Anyhow, over the years many forms of internet fraud has taken off and has deceived many people. Sad buy true! I was one of those people who were blinded by having my domain name stolen right out from under my feet. But the fraud doesn't stop there...I continuously find pics of my dogs/pups for sale on other website. How shameful!!!
Also I have discovered that other kennels are using Showtyme as their kennel name, this is a mind blower!
