We don't have much experience in the technology space but we're giving it a shot. The objective of this video project was to do a short video commercial for a local pest control company. We had no idea where to start, but we saw somewhere that fiverr has sellers who will do short commercials for you.
We first went to fiverr.com and searched for people offering to be spokespeople. It wasn't very hard to find, but the next thing we had to do was sort through all the services. We found someone we thought looked professional for the part we needed (older, middle aged, male, etc.). You'll find all sorts of ages and biographies on fiverr and you'll have to think about what you need. Next we contacted the seller and sent a scrip of what we needed and instructions on how to shoot the video.
The actor in this case was named, The Godfather, quite a nice, approachable, friendly guy. Despite being really friendly, he did his all to give the most complete business service. He went above and beyond what we asked for. Our original order only had him do 1 read of the script with 1 background. When he delivered, however, he came back with 5 different reads (meaning he used different pacing and gestures) and 5 different backgrounds. This totally blew us away.
