DOs and DONTs of Hair Styling For Older Women
Do your hair in a youthful style. It makes you look younger... as well as fantastic.
Don't be afraid to go gray, or silver, or white. It's gorgeous.
Do use color on your face. Colored eyeliner looks great on an aging complexion.
Don't use shiny or reflective base makeup on the center of your face, under your eyes, or just below the eyebrow. This increases the contrast on your face and it actually makes you look older.
Do use matte foundation makeup. It creates a more youthful appearance.
Don't pay too much attention to other people's advice on makeup for the mature face. Do what looks good on you. If you think it looks good (no matter what anyone else is saying to the contrary), then it probably does look good and that is a great gift to you!
