Hello :-)
So I've finally finished my first Web site. What do you think? I really enjoyed working on this project. I worked as a graphic artist for 10 years and feel web design will be a complimentary skill to my graphic background. I look forward to all I'm going to learn through the remainder of my courses at Sessions, an online school of design.
I've written a short bio, attached a few site badges, a YouTube video that I liked and links to a few websites that I've recently joined. .
I'd love to hear any feedback? Remember..it's my first Web site so don't be overly harsh, LOL. Drop me a line
About This Site
I ended up making more changes to the site then what was specified in the assignment, which I hope is OK. :-) The chages that I made to the pages along with the assigned new document titles, site titles and background; are changes to the colour of the headers, footers and container.
While working in EI8 I had issues making the alt attribute work properly (text wouldn't appear when the mouse scrolled over the image). It worked in EI7 though.
On the links page I set the Facebook link to open into the currently open browser window instead of a new window like the other links.
I had difficulty getting the Image on the Home page to appear, it worked while testing it on my computer but wouldn't appear when I activated the website on Angelfire.com. After changing and renaming the image, it finally worked. Yay!
