This is a warning to anyone thinking of going to the Philippines, specifically Cebu City Philippines, for an Introduction Tour to meet a Philippine woman for a relationship and hoping to get married.  I'm sure most of the intro companies in Cebu are legit, but this guy took me for a ride.

It all started when I saw a website about an introduction tour in the Philippines.  The website was a mess, but I went ahead and emailed the guy to get some info.  He replied a week later and said he was sorry and was out sick.   He replied with the name Ian.  So we emailed each other a few times.  He was a real sweet talker.  He told me that I would meet 10 nice looking women a day and that I was guaranteed to find a nice girl to marry.  It sounded good so I decide to give it a try.  He quickly replied asking for a $500 deposit by Western Union, I guess not sick anymore.  Anyways, Big Mistake!  That was only $500.  The story gets worse!

Ian, or Russel, or Ken, or whatever his name is (see below), never met me at the airport as promised.  I had to take a cab in a strange country to my hotel.  Luckily I had the hotel name with me, so I told the driver the name and off we went.

When we pulled up to the hotel, I thought the driver was joking.  It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in my life!  Won't mention the name, but it was bad.  It came included with the price of the tour which was $1475, so I guess he was being cheap!

I didn't have his contact number so I figured I was hosed.  I found some place to eat and went back to the hotel.  The next morning I got a call from someone that said she was Ian's wife?  She called herself Liezl.  She said sorry for not being at the airport to pick me up.  She seemed nice and told me we would start the introductions the next day.  So there I sat with no one that I knew and wasted the whole.  She never gave me a number!

The next day she did call my room and said she is on the way.  This is where it gets bad.  She told me to come downstairs.  There she promptly asked me for the balance of the tour and then proceeded to introduce me to a very plain, unattractive girl in the Hotel Lobby!   I thought it was a joke and told her afterwards to introduce me to the ladies that Ian was talking about.  You know, the ones that were on the website.  The nice looking ones.   I had a few in mind and was hoping to meet them.

She then got on her phone and starting texting girls to come meet me.  I told her the Hotel Lobby is not a good place and that we should move to somewhere more private.  We moved to a nearby coffee shop.
Finally another girl showed up.  Oh gosh.  Can you say "Picket Fence!"

So that was two.  Liezl could tell I wasn't happy so she tried to get some more girls to come around and she said "Wait, we have better ones coming.  They just got off of work".  I said OK and waited.

But no one showed up!  I'm not a bad looking guy either!  So I went back to my room and gave up for the day.  Liezl promised me it would be better tomorrow.

The next day she only had two girls for me to meet, both her friends I think.  Not even close to the type of girls I was looking to meet and I'm not picky!

I asked Liezl if she had any more girls?  The good ones?  She looked nervous.  She started on her phone again and it sounded like she called Ian because I heard her say "he doesn't like any of the girls".  She hung up and told me to not be so high standard with the girls.  I told her “I wasn't.  I just never been introduced to the girls that Ian talked about and displayed on his website!”

She told me those were the best girls.  I laughed, then told her it's over!  I told her that this tour and coming here was a waste of my time and money.  I told her I spent over $4000 to come here and the service was horrible!  Not at all what was promised!  No response.

I spent the rest of the next few days just walking around and trying to get my money's worth as a sole  vacationer in Cebu Philippines.

What a mess...but it doesn't end there.

When I got back home, I started getting emails from Liezl and her friends asking me for money!
They complained about all their illnesses, parents dying, and nieces in the hospital that needed medication.  I never responded, but WOW, I can't believe what a tangled web of deception David has spun up.  Not only him, but his little group of scammers are all in on it.  I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't him emailing me through their accounts.   Can you believe it?

Since I got back, I started digging around and found out that I'm not the only one who got ripped off by this guy!   I found out through
searches, forums and blogs that his real name is
David Jason Ryerson.  He also goes by many aliases like David Ryan, Chuck, Clayton, Russel, Ken Strausse, Daniel Miller, Jason Chambers, and many others.  This is to hide his real identity because he is a crook!  Probably owes back taxes too!   Found out too that he used to own Asian Sun Tours that went defunct.  Wonder why?  Also found out he was part owner of a strip club in Cebu and ran that into the ground.  This guy is a real winner.

I found out too that he recently sold that business 'Pacific Island Tours' to a guy who seems really upstanding and honest and now doing the right thing with his tours.  Thank God!   He is cool to talk too and said he nearly got ripped off by him too when he tried to buy the business.  I guess he tried to take the money and run!

This David guy is a real scammer.  He took me for over $4000!  I paid him the $500 deposit, I had to book my own flight, which was OK, but once I got there.  Complete Rip Off!

This is a warning to anyone that is thinking about going to Cebu Philippines for an introduction tour.   Make sure it is not this guy!!!
I wish I was able to meet him in person, but I think his plan is to never meet his customers.  I wish I had a picture of him and her.  But at least I got his real name and gave you the scoop on him.  So beware, OK!

UPDATE!!
I found out from some insiders that David is back in the saddle and trying to scam more innocent people!  He has started a website Pacific Adventure Tour at pacificadventuretour.com that looks almost identical to the owner’s site at pacificislandtours.com.  I don't want to give him a link to his site, as he don't deserve it!  Come to find out he is also running a scam site Residing in Cebu at residingincebu.com trying to lure more innocent people into his trap.  I can’t believe he is allowed to operate like this on the net and in the Philippines.   Who knows what else he's doing.  Once a cheat, always a cheat.

I also got a photo sent to me of David and Liezl.
And other people were nice enough to send me their Facebook IDs!  Just recently I was given his email address by someone who really got ripped off.  I will go ahead and give it to you so you can let him know that he owes you money!!  It's David Ryerson at windsong77@yahoo.com

Please anyone viewing this website be aware of this scammer.
Don't be afraid to leave comments about how you got scammed by this guy.  Tell your friends about David Ryerson and his evil deeds.  I don't want anyone to go through the misery that I did.

If there are other people th
at know this guy or been scammed by him, please send me a message below.  I would be interested to hear your story.

Thanks,

Mark
