Since movies were invented in 1888 after a great creation named chrono-photograph, movies have walked along with human beings through centuries. They witness and record the changes in every civilization, and interact with people’s life at the same time. These features of movies make them more than entertainment; movies inspire people to think about the history, to express concerns over public issues, and to understand themselves. Movies are memories of the history of humanity that shows images of the world in different periods and different civilizations.
They identify themselves with characters in the movies, at times they like to look like the characters in the movies. Also, they cope with certain difficult times in their lives by identifying with characters in movies. So it is a kind of a therapy in a sense.
It’s an addition to a source of entertainment, it is also a form of relaxation. I think action and sport movies definitely catch male’s interest a lot more than the others.
Children watch movies, mainly animations because they like to grow up to be like the heroes in the movies and also like all the action for boys and the dress up stuff for girls.
