Are you a perpetual failure? Indecisive? And, when you do make a bold decision, nobody supports you? Are you all alone? Maybe life seems meaningless a lot of the times. Are you simply becoming apathetic towards everything in general? Are you looking for a place to call home? Are you tired of all the pressure from others to do things that you simply do not want to do? Do you find yourself complaining about every little thing that happens to you in your life? You still have ambition, but too many dreams, cluttered and aggravated. You can't simply choose one path because then you would be voiding all of the others. You have a higher purpose. You are destined for greatness and nobody knows it! They do not believe in you. You are better off working in a factory, or better yet, you can use your mommy and daddies money to go to the bland university or community college of their choice to pursue an even more mundane career, to reach the greatest heights of suburban bliss!
No, that is not your path. But you had better not be a negative ninny. I've no time for them. You may bitch and complain but you do enjoy the simple things in life. It does not take much to satisfy you and you merely want to have peace of mind. That is not much to ask for!
If you feel this way then I guess you have found your place... Are you looking to hear from like-minded individuals? People who are tired of being weak and pushed around? It may seem like you are headed on a road to nowhere but you know that you can make your exit at any time to do something great. You just need the push... Yet you wait for something to happen. That opportune moment, as do I. One day you want to look everybody in the eye and tell them I told you so. You want to do it on your own. Who needs their help? They will only try to water down your dreams even if they "support" you. It is time to cut your ties and immerse yourself in the big bad world as they call it, even if it kills you and you destroy everything that has carried you in the past. It is time for true freedom. It is time for adventure. It is time to break your shackles and run rampant on the world that has been keeping you down all of this time. Though we all know deep down inside that the only person keeping us sedated is ourselves.
I feel the same way. I have broken the chains that held me several times but I always come back to my masters grasp. But next time it must be permanent. Breaking the chains is not enough. If they have a hold on one hair of your head they will pull you back. This time when you break free you have to turn around and fuck them in the ass. You know the people who really love you and would never betray you. Surely there is someone and they want you to truly succeed. I am waiting for my moment aimlessly. Are you?
That is why I have created this monstrosity. This is no sappy self-help/self-improvement pep talk website. You are tougher than that, though others may call you a loser. Maybe you are at this point but it does not have to be this way. You can change whenever you wish. Now is the time. I want to expose to you the truths that I have seen and now know to be true. I want you to submit your writing too. So others will know that they are not alone. Our kinds of people aren't doomy and gloomy and we detest emo kids and bleeding hearts alike. We are sensible. But maybe we are something worse than them? Raging beasts filled with apathy and no motivation. Perhaps we simply do not exist? I sure hope not!
I want this place to be a safe-haven for people like us, where we can share our thoughts on everything from politics to art to even social problems. I don't really give a shit at all. Anything goes here.
I would hate for this to become some kind of "movement" as we all know those are shit. But it is time to take some kind of action to modify this boring world and bring some excitement into our lives. You cannot change the world without changing yourself first and it is time to take action. Hell, I really don't know what the fuck I'm talking about but maybe you do. Hopefully you will get something from this place. Maybe I will start a magazine out of it made just for you. Something to support our kind. Although most of us may differ in styles and beliefs, the common thread holding us together is that we are lost and tired of being told what to do. We have no representation in the world of mass-media and it is time to change all that. Care to join in on the fun? Send in your editiorials. They may be about whatever topics you wish! I will post them. Just don't be a cunt and don't be illiterate, that is all that I ask. I would like to assemble a core group of writers with different styles who feel like they have something to say. Maybe they can share their colossal failures and few achievements with us. We may gain wisdom through this project after all. It is time to gain your purpose, to stop wasting away in your parents basement. You are a human being and it is time to express your opinion! It is time to wake up...
