A TOWN THAT DOESN'T SLEEP
Polangui is one of the busiest towns in Albay, in terms of business and commerce activities.If revenues produced should be the basis in assessing a town's progress, then it can be safely be said that Polangui is one of the progressive towns in the province. There is a phrase in a song that describes New York as a "City that doesn't sleep." All that one has to do, to find this out, is to drop by the town at any time of the day or night.
Among the most prominent and lasting edifices in the town is the Parish Church.Throughout the centuries of her existence, the town's church has always been the dominant yet silent symbol of our unity and faith. Countless had been the instances, specially in times of adversities, that the people of Polangui turned to the church to seek for comfort, peace, guidance and even sanctuary.
