The mayans weren't a reliable nation. They said that after the 12th B'ak'tun which is 144,00 days each the world will end. The problem is scientist disproved all of the supposively "doom's day" theories. The main two ways people think the world will end is A) The Yellowstone National Park exploding or B) The Earth's magintic poles reversing and dropping the magintic sheild that keeps the sun's UV rays out. For the first one scientists tested the ammount of lava, the pressure, and the temputure of Yellowstone National Park and proved that it's not erupting for a while; and for the second one archaeologist's proved that the earth already swiched before and they saw no evidence that life got altered at all.
