Ronald James Vadala was a native of Brooklyn New York. He worked in New York Harbor as a teenager in Battery Park. He entered Federal Service in August 6 1973, in the Department of Defense, where he worked for 20 years, as a Budget Analyst, Managerial Accountant, and later, Senior Auditor. As auditor he investigated several Army Installations, including Cape Canaveral, and saved the government millions of dollars. As an Accounting Manager, he was instrumental in providing resources to the troops in the first Gulf War, and was awarded AMC Accountant of the Year, for his strategic support to supply the troops during that war, and for his developement of Army regulations to manage Billions of dollars of Government Assets, and other initiatives such as the creation of Performance Measurement Systems of Fiscal and Systems operations..

In 1993 he worked for the Executive Office of the President, under William J Clinton, and managed the Inter-Amercan Foundation's Finances, providing foreign assistance to Latin American and Caribbean Countries. Some of his country visits included Guatemala and Mexico. He improved financial operations so much so that he was recognized by congressional staff and awarded for superior performance by Ambassador William K. Perrin.

From 2000 to 2006, Ron worked for the State Department, where he managed Accounting Operations for a short time and later managed Accounting Systems at the International Broadcasting Bureau, establishing necessary internal controls and structured initiatives. During his tenure in Federal Service, Ron had special clearances including Top Secret and Secret and was involved in accounting and auditing projects that exposed him to R & D facilities (i.e Harry Diamond Laboritories, etc) which managed DOD weapon systems. Ron retired in 2006 with almost 33 years of Federal Government Service.

Ronald was an Officer and Treasurer of the Piedmont Hills Homeowners Association in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and also served as Officer and Treasurer for the Lions Club International in Virginia. He was also managing editor of the Association of Government Accountants, and received the AGA National Editorial Award for the Central New Jersey Chapter's first newsletter.

Ron's family is his first priority, and he and his lovely wife Susan were married in 1975. They have three children: Stacy-Ann, Michael Anthony and Steven James.
His love for music has continued from the 70's where he and his band, the Sound Projects, made their first demo record. Since that time he has played in numerous musical groups at many venues. He released several independent (indie) CD's, and the proceeds of one CD, was donated to Katrina hurricane victims. His CD's are for sale at various outlets on the internet which are linked to the Ronnie James websites,provided herein. Ronnie James has appeared on Channel 6 Cable TV, in Fredericksburg, VA and appeared at the Annual Christmas Parade in Fredericksburg, VA. He also appeared on WDVX FM in Knoxville, Tn and also performed on WLIK AM in Newport, Tn for several radio shows. He served as a Singer/Guitarist for the Good Shepard Catholic Church and later served as Choir Director and Vestry member for the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation, both in Cocke County Tennessee.
He has written numerous songs, one of which (Neddy Mountain) was included in a book entitled 'A Tapestry of Voices', published by the Knoxville Writers Guild. Ron performed the song at the Laurel Theater in Knoxville. Ron is married to Susan (Carlson) Vadala, and has three children (Stacy-Ann, Michael, and Steven) and three Grandchildren, Isabella Rose, Jonah James and Maddelyn Jade.
