Diala: RIP 1970-2009

 

I thank you all dear friends and relatives for coming here today to pray with me and remember our beloved Diala.

 

I don’t like to consider that Diala has “passed away” but rather she went to a better place. A peaceful place where angels watch over you, where good and kindness reign, where there is neither pain nor suffering.

 

You all know that my Diala has suffered greatly, but she gracefully accepted her fate. She never complained, always thanking God Almighty for his generosity, grateful to have life a life so accomplished, always saying حمدالله   when asked how she’s doing.

 

It is hard for us as human beings to accept the loss of a dear, dear “someone”. It is even harder for me to accept the loss of my wife, my other half, my complement.

 

But I am also grateful for God, for having given me that much time with her. I am thankful for God, for blessing me with my 2 boys, the fruit of our love.

 

Diala was a great mother, a wonderful wife and a true friend. Even people meeting her for the first time could feel her kindness and her peaceful “aura”. They would remember her smile and her good heart.

 

We, as Christians, believe that death is only a temporary separation… until we meet… sleep well my Love… and don’t worry about Anthony and Johnny cause I know you are watching over them from Heaven.
