REMEMBER THIS IS

 “COMPETITION TWIRLING”

Few activities provide a more wholesome and worthwhile outlet for the energies of  today’s youth than baton twirling. Sanctioned twirling contests are largely responsible for the growth, development and advancement of twirling as a performance sport, performing art and beneficial activity. Many of the keen traits found in today’s twirlers can be directly credited to their participation in twirling contest, i.e., physical fitness, good sportsmanship, poise, teamwork, personality projection, ambidexterity, and self-confidence.

Baton twirling contests provide a place where baton twirlers can join together in friendly competition and share a common interest, while participating in a program for baton boosters and the pubic to view.

Baton Twirling is a wonderful activity for anyone who seeks a recreational sport or a competitive sport. It teaches gracefulness, confidence, agility, and teamwork and develops good work habits, as a recreational sport, twirling offers the bases for Majorette Line and Feature Twirler. As a competitive sport, twirling offers step-by-step progression into advanced level of competition.

The Competitive Achievement System (CAS) is now being used in twirling throughout the U.S. Twirling Association. This system, which is being in our program, includes compulsory fundamentals for baton and body, and Modeling. This system can only enhance a twirling program and make each athlete more confident and skilled at his or her sport. There will be beginner and intermediate classes for age 4 to 17 of age. We also have competitive team, which will compete at the State, Regional and National Level. Athletes are placed on these teams at the end of 8-week session.
