RANDY'S POEMS

This is a little about me, I'm 5'7" 120 lbs, short blonde hair, blue eyes. Some of these poems, are fictitious. I have created people from hearing others talk while at work. I was a security officer and believe me, I hear some good stories that I use in my poetry. I add things or take out things that I hear and act upon my own. I use my mind and create situations that don't actually happen.

JESUS LIVES IN MY HEART

Jesus lives in my heartHe gives me the strengthTo live the life he gave meTo overcome the good and the badThe happy and the sad.

I thank him everydayAnd pray I won't go astrayHe is my mentor when life goes wrongAnd the one I praise all day long

KEEP TELLING ME

I've tried toBe mad at you.It's so hard to do.I can't even stop loving you.

Oh how I wish I could tell youThat my feelings aren't true.But, you would know it too.That what I'd say, isn't true.

Why was it so easyTo fall in love with you?For me not to talk to you,Is so very hard to do.

You keep telling meTo forget about you.Oh, baby, if it was so easy to doAnd my love for youWasn't true,You know I would be able to.

You say to find somebody new.But, what may work for you,May not work for me too.And I have to tell you what is true.

I stared at my coffeeAnd all I could see,Is a picture of youWith me.

I look in the mirrorAnd all I see,Is you and me.

I look out the window,And all I see,Is you standin' there,Lookin' at me.

I'vee tried to find,In so many ways,To get you off my mind.

I try to find things to do.And everything I do,Reminds me of you.

I look into spaceAnd all I see,Is your beutiful face,Starin' back at me.

As I'm drivin' down the roadI try to leave your memory off my mindI try to runBut, it catches me from behindAnd your memoryTakes control of me.

There's no where to runAnd there's no where to hide.Cause your memoryWill catch up with me.

FROM THE HEART

We have walked,And we have talked.You said you love me.If what you say is true,Then I won't be blue.

Yet,you tell me,To let you go.Well,baby,which one is true.Cause you are causing me to be confused,And you know how I feel about you.

So,please,tell me now, which one is true.You know how strong my love is for you.Since I met you,I can't live in this world without you.

You mean more in this world to me.More than anyone could ever be.Your smiling face is all I need to see,To brighten my face this way.Each and every day.

HEAVY LOAD

A few months agoI took the wrong road.Shoulda went to Ohio.It's been a heavy load.

I wish I neverwould have left her.The only thing smartHas been my heart.

In my mindOnly my heartHad been smartEnough to stay behind

Things have been unrealAnd the way I feelAbout the ordealHas made me miss a meal.

I love you,Means a lot to me.And you do too.Can you seeWhat your loveHas done to me?

HURTING TOO

A few months have passed by.And I keep asking myself "why?"Why did I let you go?How could I have been so shallow?

What was I thinking?I didn't do any drinking!Where was my mind?How could I, have been so blind?

Your love for me was true.So, what did I do?I turned and ran from you!And now, I'm hurting, too.As much as I hurt you!

So now, what do I do?I already told you,And it sounded like you already knew,That I still, really do, have true love for you!

Tell me what to do.Tell me, how to get back to you.For I haven't got a clue.I never again, want to be without you.

I know you are afraidOf another heartbreak.But, baby, so am I!Can we please, give it another try?Without you, I feel like i'm gonna die!!!
