History:

First Century..

Born from rape, his mother, a Drow priestess, his father, a High Elf captive from a raid. At birth his orange colored eyes and gray skin marked him as a product of his mother's playtoy, only being spared being a sacrifice by a favorable sign from the Spider Queen, and was given the name Talth'ras of House Daedru'ratharin or "Grey one" translated. He was raised as any Drow noble child in the manner of spare the tongue, not the rod. At the age of thirty he was sent to the Fal'rerath Academy for warriors, with hope his smaller size and mixed heritage would get him slain early. During his twenty years of training there he progressed far rapidly than his classmates, soon being able to hold his own against others older than him. He graduated as a top ranked swordsman, much to the disgust and ire of the other Drow houses. He then spent the next ten years on constant patrols, excelling and creating a name for himself, to the point most other males showed respect, and females were eyeing him for a potiental breeding partner. Shortly after his 100th birthday he was given the position of house Weapon's master dispite his mixed heritage, his own mother now being the matron of the house.

Second Century..

After holding the position of House Weapon's master for a few years he was selected to join a combined household raid on the High Elves above. Eager for a new challenge Talth'ras, quickly outpaced the others of his party as they began the raid, only to fall prey to a set pitfall trap, being knocked unconcious at the bottom as he landed. When he came to he was stripped of his gear and weapons and hanging in a cage in the center of the village, being poked and proded as they had never seen a "Grey elf" before. For a few days he sat in his cafe until travelers from the larger communities came to have a peak at them, one of them, an elder female, falling faint at the sight of him. Shortly after he was released, as the woman who had fainted, was his grandmother. Over the next few months he learned the high elf language, and slowly overcame the racial teachings he had grown up with, although coming to terms with the fact he was starting to have affections for these people was his biggest obstacle. He was refered to by his father's family name, Oakblade by the High Elves, as they could not speak his drow name easily. After spending almost a year with this village another raiding party struck, the elves, again being prepared repelled it with ease. Talth'ras went to question the warrior, only to strike him down in rage after hearing his house had been destroyed, leaving him a rogue in the drow society, and a dangerous one as he was a noble. Being offered a place with his father's people, he soon changed his name to Talth Oakblade, and lived with his father's family from then on.

Third Century..

War was brewing in the neighboring human lands. The elves stayed out of it but massed their rangers on the borders incase of the wars spilling over into their lands. Talth at this point had been serving in the Border Warden for decades now, having slowly earning the trust and respect to obtain the rank of Ranger-Captain. During their patrol of the border lands, the sounds of a battle reaching them. The quickly raced to the edge of the forest and watched the clashing armies fight not even a mile from their home. After sending runners off to sound the warning they stayed hidden and watched their neighbor's armies slowly start to retreat. Then at dusk, rifts began appearing over the battlefield, demons having been summoned to turn the tide of the battle. Talth and his rangers watched in horror as the remaining troops were slaughtered, and the demons, laughing at their "masters" proceed to turn and slaughter them as well. After seeing this, and watching them turn their eyes towards his new home, Talth lead a charge from the forest towards them, slaying many of the demons before he was overwelmed and left crushed on the field of battle. The elves, having won the battle soon after, placed him on a litter and carried him back to the city at all haste, sending runners ahead to summon the healers. Unfortunately the healers didn't realize the demons had left a hidden trap of magic in him, as the healers began casting their spells his body was torn asunder, barbs of magic hidden from detecting ripping through his body to slay over half of the healers trying to save him.

In the land of the dead...

As Talth crossed over into the land of the dead his uniqueness caught the eye of Ambrosia Lynsay, the current ruler of the realm of the dead. She gave him a corporal body once more and a position in her household. He served her as a pet, bodyguard, and servent, and was invested with the powers of "Gatekeeper" and entrusted with the sword "Mourne". After many eons of serving Ambrosia the former master, Fomhoire returned. Talth, in the process of defending his mistress's domain, was flung back into the land of the living once more.

And thus, his story ends here.
