My boyfriend recently finished serving in the Air Force and once he was out, we decided to move to Portland. We had saved up enough money to live on for a few months while we found jobs. We thought he'd have some help as a veteran finding employment, but so far, no such luck.
We only took with us what we could fit in the car, and it's now been a few months and we are still jobless, and very close to being out of cash. I've been to at least six job interviews with no calls back. And neither of us are being picky! We've applied everywhere!
I know times are tough right now, and it's hard for everyone, but if you have anything extra and are able to spare (even just a dollar!), we would be greatly appreciative!
