Color variations of Pokemon LED light


Between the whitewashed LED and the warm white LED, the mixing ratio of both types of LEDs allows intermediate values of both light colors to be achieved, which are arranged on a straight line. If, as in this example, the two LED light colors are positioned on the Planckian curve, the mixed light colors can no longer lie on the curve at the intermediate values due to the straight line but drift off into magenta. As a result, white light reproduction is best at the endpoints.

The multicolor LED is used to represent each color in the color space, but also to hit any white tone. Here is a combination of red, green, blue, amber and minty LEDs. The colors amber and mint are again generated by converting a blue LED with corresponding phosphor. Pokemon lamps come in different colors and sizes but most of them come in white tone.

If you want to move the color temperature not only in a straight line, but along the Planckian curve, you need another technique that allows you to move the mixed color point freely in the color space. From the theory of colors, we know that one can mix every white point with the basic colors red, green and blue.


However, the quality of the light leaves much to be desired, since many frequencies of light are not present in the spectrum and therefore can’t be reflected by the illuminated object. Therefore, here is the maxim- the more different coloredPokemon LEDs come together, the more complete the light spectrum can be reproduced, and the quality of light increases.
