Wow, so it has been a really long time since we have updated our site!! We have just been so preoccupied with work, school, and each other. A lot has happened since the last update. Button's grandpa had a heart attack during the holidays but was finally sent home in January. We spent our first New Year's with a quiet evening and a "Burning", which was really cool. Button tried hard to give Peanut a special first Valentine's Day. Since Valentine's Day was on a Monday we celebrated it on Saturday instead. Unfortunately, early Sunday morning we learned that Button's grandpa passed away. Soon after that was the funeral. Although it was really nice to see all the family, we wished it was under better circumstances. Now Button's Uncle Bob is trying to plan for us to all get together sometime in November. Next was St. Patrick's Day. This is Button's favorite holiday so we had a nice family dinner celebration with her dad, brother, sister-in-law, and grandma. The next day we had a lot of friends over for some drinking and fun. The rest of March went by pretty quickly and now we are here. Button's grandma comes over every Friday night for dinner and a movie, and Button goes to church with grandma every Sunday. We got a washer and dryer recently so now Pops comes over to our house for laundry. Tomorrow will be the second time. Button is taking her second math class this semester and is also enrolled in an online PharmTech class. Peanut gets stressed from work sometimes but all is well. He does a great job at supporting and taking care of his Button. ^_^ Today we are celebrating our 1 year anniversary by going up to the Lodge. We will be staying the night in a King suite and having dinner and breakfast there. It will be very special. Peanut is very excited to take his Button out for this very special occasion. Button is really excited as well. Technically our 1 year anniversary isn't until tomorrow but it's a Sunday so we are doing it a day earlier for convenience. Oh, Button's mom finally got married to Dan!!! This was very exciting as well. It's about time. We are so happy for them. That's all for now. We will try to update more often. We have said this before but we will try to make it happen this time! ^_^

Last night was so awesome!!! Finally watched Jeff Dunham live and we had so much fun! We both laughed so much! We got to see a new charatcer that's a part of his show and we also got to see a surprise character that he somewhat improv-ed with. Super cool! We were the first ones to see it!! We waited in line for a really long time at the merch table but we were finally able to buy a Peanut keychain and the Christmas Special DVD. Now Button's colletion is complete . . . until this new one come out!! We got back home really late (after midnight)!! Poor Peanut had to wake up really early this morning. Peanut is such an amazing boyfriend. He sacrificed some sleep just to make the Button happy! Button loves the Peanut!!!! ^_^ Can't wait until the next concert/show we watch!

It has been a long time since we have made an update on our site. We have been so busy. We finally moved into our new apartment and still getting settled in. It's so very nice though. We are both really enjoying life together so far!! Thanksgiving was really good. We did a lot of cooking and had some family over. Pops, Derrick, Mindy, Grandma, & Grandpa. We pretty much just relaxed the rest of the day. It was really nice. We also had a small housewarming party on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We made lots of snacks and played some fun games with our friends. It was really fun. Now we are planning to have a Christmas party sometime within the next two weeks! But still working out those details. Not much else has really been going on. Button had her second sleep study and already has her CPAP machine. It's not that bad but it still kind of sucks for her. And Peanut bought tickets for the Jeff Dunham show and we are going to see him tomorrow. We are both very excited about that. Hopefully we get off work early enough to get there at a decent time. Heard traffic was really bad last year when he came. We'll just have to wait and see how it is this year. Oh, we went to our first midnight movie. It was really cool. We were the first ones in line and we waited 6 hours to watch Harry Potter 7, Part 1. It was well worth it; a very good movie. Button only has one more day of school left. Next Monday is her final and then she is all done for the semester. Hopefully she will be able to register for the class she wants on time. Well, guess that's it for now. Don't think there is much more going on right now. Will try to update more often. It will get easier as we settle in more. ^_^

Button finally got the results of her sleep study from the Dr. They told her that she has moderate sleep apnea and she was scheduled for a second study to get a mask and the right pressure for her machine. That is going to be on November 5th. SUCK

Went to the Halloween Masquerade Ball that we have been so excited to go to. It was not as awesome as we had hoped. They were hors d'oeuvres but no punch bowl. If you wanted something to drink you had to stand in line at the bar which only had one bartender, so we were in line for half an hour. So that was very unpleasant. Because we had to stand in line so long we missed a really awesome dance performance. And although some of the music they were playing was really good they did not play The Monster Mash :( Button was definitely expecting at least for that song to get played. It was nice to get out and be all dressed up but overall we had a better time just hanging out at home after wards. We did get our pictures taken and plan to post those some time soon. ^_^

Paid our first month's rent at the new apartment. Just have to wait until the move in date now to pick up the keys!!! We are so excited!!!! ^_^

Button got a call from her lady Dr. this morning. Apparently there was some sort of abnormality in her pap smear and she has to go back in to get it checked out. He says it's very common and that in this case it's a mild abnormality and is most likely not cancer. She goes back in November 2nd. Also should be finding out from the sleep study Dr. tomorrow. Hopefully she won't have to do a second one. Other than all of the medical updates there was a circus in town today! It was so much fun. There were lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my!! And Elephants!! There were also some really good balancers and acrobats and jugglers. And of course the awesome motorcycle ball of death! Had a really awesome time!!! And getting really excited about the Halloween Masquerade Ball coming up on Saturday!! We'll have to post up some pictures of us ^_^

It is decided that Button will be withdrawing her application for the new job. It seems that things are more stressful now with trying to get a new job that was supposed to help relieve all the stress we've been having. Things will remain much better if she just sticks with her current job. She still hasn't heard the counter offer from the manager's yet so she is hoping that tomorrow they will give let her know and then she can just take it. Hopefully at least she will get a raise or a guarantee of more hours. Even if she doesn't get either of those at least all the added stress will go away and things will be just fine. Timing has just been really bad, so maybe after we are all moved and settled she can try again next year or something. For now we are just going to pray that things will be okay!

Project Blanket is almost finished. We decided to add some buttons (which look totally awesome!). We will most likely have that done tomorrow, we hope. Peanut had the day off today because it's a "holiday", so he spent his afternoon packing for the move. Button spoke with her managers today about her new job. She offered to still work for them as a manager on Saturdays, in which they were very grateful. They also plan to discuss a counter offer at the supervisor meeting on Wednesday. It seems as though they do not want her to leave. But from a financial point of view, this new job is substantially better. If they can't meet or exceed the $9/hr with 40+ hours/week she will have to decline.
October 9 & 10, 2010Saturday was Pops' birthday. We took him to lunch and had his favorite cake. After that we attempted to celebrate our 6 month anniversary a day earlier because we had prior engagements on Sunday. A friend of ours was very lonely and tagged along with us to the movies and made us really late for dinner. It wasn't a great anniversary celebration so we canceled our Sunday obligation for a double feature at the theater. And a late night breakfast to follow. We also started a project this weekend. We are making a very cute throw blanket. Also, Button's sleep study was last night. The nurse said she might have a mild case of apnea but the doctor still needs to review the case. Hopefully we hear from the doctor soon. *fingers crossed*October 7, 2010Button got a new job today!! YAY!! She starts her training November 15th and it's 7 weeks long. The pay is better and the hours are better! Things are awesome. There might be a chance of stress if Button has to do the afternoon training but we are praying that a spot opens up in the morning. That will make everything awesome! If not we will still make it work. This job is a great opportunity for her. In other news, we saw the biggest and brightest shooting star ever this morning! It was so beautiful!! Peanut was too amazed he forgot to make a wish but Button remembered to make hers! ^_^

Such a great Saturday. We went bowling @ Holloman and got a souvenir bowling pin that we put our names on and the date. Then afterward we had a nice lunch at the BX. We went grocery shopping, watched a movie, and bought a few presents for ourselves. Button got a new Elmo nightie. ^_^ Really don't ever want the weekend to come to an end.

We are getting ready for a nice weekend with no work!! It's so exciting to be able to spend time with each other all weekend. So far the only thing we plan on doing is bowling, sleeping, and watching anime. Sounds like a perfect way to spend the weekend, don't you think? ^_^
