Top 3 Paintball Guns for Beginners

New to the sport of paintball?

You are?!?

Well then you better prepare to have some of the most exhilarating fun that you’ve ever experienced in your entire life.

Paintball is one of the most fun sports that you can play and it involves using paintball guns, also known as markers, to shoot enemy players with the hope that one of the paintballs breaks upon impact and leaves paint on the opponents.

What draws people into playing paintball is the fun they get to have while shooting gooey paintballs at other players knowing that no actual harm will be done other than maybe a little sting and possibly a bruise. It's also a great form of exercise and a fun way to spend a day on the weekend.

The best part about paintball is that it also doesn't cost a lot of money to play unless you want to spend money in which case you definitely can as it’s an addicting hobby.

Tippmann 98 Custom

The Tippmann 98 Custom is by far one of the best and most affordable paintball guns for woodsball (commonly referred to as bush ball).

Why so?

Tippmann paintball gun are built from the ground up to be extremely affordable yet durable. It's built from some of the toughest  aluminum steel that will resist impact and wear overtime. The new 98 Customs come with ACT (Anti-Chop Technology) that eliminates any chops from happening while you fire your paintball gun.

A chop in paintball is when your marker goes to fire but the paintball is unfortunately not fully in the breach and the paintball brakes inside of the gun.

Some of the features that comes included with the Tippmann 98 Custom is the new split receiver design that allows for easier customization and maintenance of the marker.  There's also a new barrel porting and a matte black finish like Batman that makes the marker really stand out from the crowd. Thanks to the matte finish there’s no reflective glare either so you won't have to worry about being spotted hiding in a bush.

The Picatinny rails on the marker are great for adding scopes and red dots and there's also a carry handle that is perfect for just holding your marker when not in play. Being able to raise up your sights a couple inches is a nice plus as well.

That not enough for you? The Tippmann 98 Custom is also fully compatible with both CO2 and compressed air or nitrogen.

Azodin Blitz 3

The Azodin  blitz 3 is one of the most advanced paintball guns that Azoden has ever produced. What's even better is that the Blitz 3 is highly affordable for the masses at a price tag of under a $200.

What some of the impressive features that comes included with this entry-level marker? Well the Blitz 3 comes with a new compact regulator and a screw-lock feedneck that looks extremely impressive with its aggressive milling.

The Blitz 3 also has no more hoses, settings, or pieces that could dig into your wrist or get in the way while you're trying to switch hands when shooting. The Blitz 3 is a centerfeed paintball gun though so unlike the Tippmann 98 Custom this paintball gun is better designed for speedball game types such as air ball and hyper ball.  Although the Blitz 3 is still a great paintball gun for woodsball as well.

The Azodin Blitz 3 is extremely well-built and can take a lot of punishment on the field. It comes with the new feather regulator that is very consistent when it comes to output pressure. It’s durable body will also allow the marker to survive hard falls and dives on your marker thanks to its durable nylon reinforced composite frame.

And unlike other electronic paintball guns, the Blitz 3 can use both CO2 and HPA. In fact, it's one of the few electro-pneumatic paintball guns in the world that can do so.

GOG eNMEy

The GOG eNMEy Is one of the best entry-level paintball guns on the market. This centerfeed paintball gun doesn't require batteries either so you're always be prepared to play no matter what.

The eNMEy has a spool valve design and is also a true pnuematic design, meaning there is no  hammer, no sear, and no metal-on-metal wear points. The eNMEy also has a regulated low pressure operation thanks to it's vertical regulator that stabilizes the ingoing air or CO2 for a consistent outfit pressure.

On average the eNMEy runs at 160 PSI output PSI and has little to no recoil.

The maintenance on the GOG eNMEy is also extremely simple since its main valve and bolt can be removed  and cleaned and then reassembled in only a matter of seconds. It also comes with a machined aluminum receiver that’s under a protective polymer shell that is both lightweight and durable.

Overall I would have to say that the GOG eNMEy is one of the best paintball guns for beginners.  This is thanks to the low price point entry and all of the outstanding features that comes included with this paintball gun.
