DEONTAY WILDER has officially confirmed he will defend his WBC Heavyweight Title with a rematch against Luis Ortiz on November 23.

The pair will face off for a second time in Las Vegas after the Bronze Bomber’s knockout victory over the Cuban last year in New York.

And that leaves the American Wilder still on course for another highly-anticipated rematch with Tyson Fury in February.

The Gypsy King has been desperate for another shot at Wilder after last December’s thrilling draw.

But the title holder revealed in August he intended to battle Ortiz again first.

However, the American giant warned Fury to brace for impact next year.

Wilder told BBC Sport: “Ortiz is definitely happening. I am looking forward to fighting him.

“After I knock him out I will go to Fury, knock him out and then we will go for a unification.”

This Week on The PBC Podcast, Scott Boggins and Craig Ernest, producers of PBC Countdown and PBC Fight Camp for FOX Sports, take us behind the scenes of the anticipated rematch between undefeated WBC World Heavyweight Champion Deontay Wilder and dangerous southpaw Luis Ortiz, set for Saturday, November 23, at Las Vegas’ MGM Grand, live on FOX Sports PPV (9 p.m. ET/ 6p.m. PT).

Also, middleweight contender Dennis Hogan joins the podcast ahead of his versus undefeated WBC World Middleweight Champion Jermall Charlo on Saturday, December 7, at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, live on SHOWTIME. All that, plus a review of last weekend’s action and a breakdown of the upcoming ones, right here: The PBC Podcast.

The weather may be cooling down but the heavyweight division is on fire! The inaugural episode of PBC Fight Camp: Deontay Wilder vs. Luis Ortiz (Part 1) drew 2,247,000 viewers on FOX, according to Nielsen Media Research. Those numbers make it the most watched PBC Fight Camp to date.

The anticipated Wilder-Ortiz II live world heavyweight championship rematch is set to take place Saturday, November 23, at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, live on FOX Sports PPV (9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT). Undefeated WBC World Heavyweight Champion Wilder, 41-0 (40 KOs), is the longest-reigning heavyweight champ today. With a win over Ortiz, he ties Muhammad Ali on the list of most consecutive world title defenses (10).

Ortiz, one of the most dangerous fighters in the sport today, is looking to exact revenge after nearly dethroning Wilder in their first encounter. That first bout, back in March 2018, was one of the most thrilling heavyweight matches in years. Wilder dropped Ortiz in the fifth round, but the wily Cuban southpaw roared back, buzzing the champion and nearly stopping him in a wild seventh frame. The see-saw action continued until the 10th, when Wilder landed his vaunted right hand, dropping Ortiz two more times to end the fight.

PBC Fight Camp: Deontay Wilder vs Luis Ortiz (Part 2) will air Saturday, November 2, on FOX, beginning at 12 p.m. ET/11:30 p.m. PT. The show will be preceded by PBC Face to Face: Wilder Ortiz live streaming , on FOX, beginning at 11:30 p.m. ET/11:00 p.m. PT.You should delete all of this text and replace it with text of your own.
