I've created this website as an outlet. For many years I have written poetry. I write and have been published by my pseudo name, Lydia Chandler. I got the idea for the name Lydia from the movie Beetleguese, which was released in 1988. The movie starred such big time actors as Alec Baldwin, Geena Davis, Winona Ryder, Catherine O'Hara, Jeffrey Jones, Sylvia Sidney and Michael Keaton in the starring role. Chandler is a family name. It is my mother's maiden name. I thought together, Lydia Chandler, sounded like an artists' name. And so it was.
I am also big on photography. While I've been writing for publication since the seventh grade, photography is a medium that I have been into for several years now. I have had numerous websites dedicated to my art in this form over the years. Due to many of life's unforseen incidents, I now find my self in a position where as it is now necessary for me to rebuild. Not just my art but my life as well.
Now I've been inspired to try other mediums. Here you can watch my work as I do what I do best - go with the flow.
