Humans
have always been fascinated by things for which they have no
explanation. They spend much time thinking about them,
exploring
them, researching them, and spending great amounts of money funding
investigations and expeditions. Sometimes they can arrive at
an
agreeable theory, while at other times they will have two or three
theories that all seem likely, yet they can’t agree on just
one
theory. One very mysterious place that still has many
questions
to be answered is Easter Island. The culture of its native
people
and their way of living is very unique and exotic. Easter
Island
is most famous for its “Moai” statues.
Though you may
not have heard of Moai statues or Easter Island and its inhabitants the
Rapa Nui, there are actually many references to them today in modern
culture.
